#GiveConfidently this Giving Tuesday

Many Kappa Deltas have been hit hard by the economic downturn that the pandemic brought on. We have bright, promising women struggling to pay tuition and choose between school and membership in our sisterhood because of financial hardship. Today’s collegians are also facing challenges in mental health.

Providing these women, a sense of belonging, purpose and community through sisterhood in Kappa Delta has never been more important.

On Tuesday, Nov. 29, join hundreds of sisters who will Give Confidently on Giving Tuesday to the Kappa Delta Foundation, and provide life-changing opportunities for our sisters.

What is Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving and unity. The day is designed to drive an influx of generosity, citizen engagement, business and philanthropy activation, and support for communities and nonprofits around the world. Giving Tuesday will kick off the season of giving by inspiring people to give back on Nov. 29.  Last year, our sisterhood Gave Confidently and raised over $87,000! Our goal this year is to go beyond that – will you help?

This is how you can help us reach our goal:

  • Mark your calendar! Giving Tuesday is Nov. 29.
  • Share information about Giving Tuesday with your sisters.
  • Follow the Kappa Delta Foundation onFacebook and Instagram.
  • Tag the Kappa Delta Foundation in your posts about Giving Tuesday and use #KDGivingTuesday and #GiveConfidently.
  • Donate today. Each gift will support KD sisters wherever the need is greatest.
  • Reach out to sisters personally and encourage them to donate today!

This Giving Tuesday, there are two ways for you to make an impact for your Kappa Delta sisters.

Give the gift of scholarship

Donors like you make it possible for the Kappa Delta Foundation to award more scholarships. In June 2021, the foundation announced the launch of the “Imagine Her Future” scholarship campaign. On KD Giving Tuesday, any gift you designate toward the Imagine Her Future campaign will help us reach both our Giving Tuesday and Imagine Her Future campaign goals. Learn more about the campaign here.

Give to the KD Forever Fund

Any gifts designated to the KD Forever Fund are unrestricted, allowing the foundation to use your gift where it’s most needed. Your support ensures Kappa Delta women have the tools they need to not only excel in college, but for a lifetime.

Sisters like you will make it possible for us to fund unique opportunities for personal development and lifetime learning for all Kappa Deltas – we couldn’t do it without you. We hope you’ll join us this year and make a donation this KD Giving Tuesday!
