  • Contribute to an education and technology fund

An education and technology grant fund is a fund managed by the foundation that allows alumnae to contribute tax-deductible donations that will later be used for the construction or improvement of a chapter house. These funds may only be used for construction or improvement related to the spaces in the house that are used strictly for educational purposes, like a study room or a library.

The local house corporation manages the fundraising efforts for these projects. After the house corporation has established the fund with the foundation and the fund has received contributions, the house corporation requests a withdrawal to pay for educational- or technology-related expenses.
