Kappa Delta Foundation Announces $2.5M Imagine Her Future Scholarship Campaign

MEMPHIS, Tennessee — At Kappa Delta’s 64th biennial National Convention, the Kappa Delta Foundation publicly announced the launch of Imagine Her Future, a $2.5 million fundraising campaign focused on increasing scholarship support to collegians and alumnae. They premiered a video for convention attendees to launch the campaign. Total dollars raised or committed to date include over $1.5 million, 60% of the final goal. The foundation’s goal is to complete the campaign by summer 2023 in conjunction with Kappa Delta Sorority’s 125th anniversary celebration.

Imagine Her Future is an opportunity to change lives and redefine futures” said Beth Martin Langford (Kappa Alpha-Florida State), Kappa Delta Foundation Board chair and Imagine Her Future campaign chair. “More than any other time in our history, our sisters are turning to the Kappa Delta Foundation for support. Scholarships can be a lifeline and are one of the most tangible ways we can inspire and directly impact the lives of KD women. Every Kappa Delta who wants to experience all our sisterhood has to offer should be able to do so with confidence – knowing her sisters are here for her, to help her along the way. Just imagine how bright her future will be with the help of a KD scholarship.”

Imagine Her Future is led by a campaign steering committee, with honorary co-chairs Corre Anding Stegall (Alpha Chi-Louisiana Tech) and Bonnie Purvis Warren (Beta Sigma-Southern Mississippi). Serving as members of the campaign steering committee are:

  • Jaynee Drange Groseth, Sigma Omega-Montana State
  • Dr. Anila Jain, Delta Eta-South Florida
  • Dot Mears, Gamma Mu-Valdosta State
  • Kristin Power, Epsilon Kappa-Cal Poly/San Luis Obispo
  • Michelle Parmley Rabideau, Sigma Omicron-Illinois
  • Susan Stockton, Delta Gamma-Western Kentucky
