As a Founders Day of Giving Chapter Champion, you’ll rally sisters from across the country to celebrate 129 years of sisterhood, encourage participation in the Founders Day Chapter Challenge and spread confidence like confetti throughout our sisterhood.
Bragging rights are on the line as chapters compete to raise the most dollars and inspire the greatest number of alumnae donors. But no matter who tops the leaderboard, every Kappa Delta wins. Together, we’ll celebrate our founders by investing in sisters who will carry their legacy forward for generations to come.

Award More Scholarships
In 2026, the Kappa Delta Foundation awarded nearly $925,000 in scholarships to more than 300 sisters — but more than 1,600 applied. Every scholarship tells a sister, we believe in you. Your support helps more women pursue their education, reach their goals and grow with confidence.

Build Confident Leaders at Every Stage
Confidence grows through experience, encouragement and the courage to step forward. From Confident Conversations — which has connected more than 9,000 sisters since 2022 — to Leadership Development Consultant training and the Officer Experience Institute, the foundation helps sisters discover their voice, strengthen their leadership and support one another.

Promote Member Well-Being
Every sister deserves to feel supported. Foundation-funded programs like the Alcohol Skills Training Program and Name Your Story create spaces where members can prioritize their well-being, build resilience and show up as their authentic selves throughout their Kappa Delta journey.

Provide Emergency Crisis Grants
When sisters face unexpected hardship, Alumnae Crisis Grants remind sisters they're part of something bigger than themselves. These grants provide immediate financial assistance during times of hardship, reflecting the lifelong care and connection that define Kappa Delta.

Leading up to and on October 23, you’ll encourage your chapter sisters and personal network to celebrate Kappa Delta’s birthday by making a gift to the Kappa Delta Foundation. Your outreach will help sisters reconnect with one another, honor our founders and invest in opportunities that help KDs grow in confidence for generations to come.
How do I do this?
We’ll make it easy! Use the toolkit below to send emails, post on social media and text sisters using your personalized giving link. Share why Kappa Delta has mattered in your life, invite others to celebrate Founders Day and remember to thank every sister who gives. We’ll keep you updated on your chapter’s progress so you can celebrate together.
What’s the time commitment?
This is a short but meaningful opportunity to make a lasting impact. We ask that Chapter Champions attend a virtual kickoff in late September with National President Susan Stockton and KDF Chair Michelle Rabideau, where you’ll learn about this year’s goals and receive helpful tips for outreach. Then, throughout October, you’ll connect with sisters through email, text and/or social media, with the goal of inspiring at least 10 gifts using your personalized giving link (provided to you by KDF staff!). This of the impact you’ll make in less than one month!

As a Chapter Champion, you’ll reconnect alumnae, encourage friendly chapter pride and help your chapter shine on the Chapter Challenge leaderboard. Sisters across the country will be watching the Founders Day of Giving site and our social media channels to see which chapters are angling for the top spots.
Chapter Champions also have fun engaging with chapter sisters, encouraging friendly competition and even paving the way to involve even more sisters in the future. Help ensure future generations experience the same sisterhood that has shaped all of us. Every gift helps more sisters be seen, supported and empowered to grow with confidence.

Your page shows your chapter’s fundraising progress, celebrates every donor and tracks your standing in the Chapter Challenge leaderboard.
Share this link in every email, social media post and text message. Using your unique page ensures every gift counts toward your chapter’s totals and lets sisters see the incredible impact you’re making together.

Last year, Chapter Champions wanted more data about the impact of foundation donations on their chapters. We’re delighted to provide it for you! You will receive your chapter impact data via email after your kick-off party.
NEW THIS YEAR: GROUP EMAILER
This tool is currently only available for the distinct purpose of Founders Day of Giving. Communication sent through this avenue must focus solely on that topic.
No more confidentiality agreements, contact spreadsheets, bounce backs or email send issues! For the first time, using our provided Founders Day of Giving branded templates and messaging, Chapter Champions will personalize and send emails to chapter alumnae directly from the Member Portal! You will receive step-by-step instructions at your kick-off party (or via email if you can’t join us!).
Your personal outreach makes the biggest difference. We encourage you to send messages via Group Emailer between Oct. 16-26, sharing why Kappa Delta has been meaningful to you and inviting sisters to celebrate Founders Day with a gift.
