Kappa Delta Foundation Selects 2024-2025 KiDs Grant Recipients

Memphis, Tenn. (June 14, 2024) – The Kappa Delta Foundation awarded $25,000 in KiDs Grants to six recipients. KiDs Grants offer individual alumnae and alumnae chapters an opportunity to partner with local nonprofit agencies to make a difference.

The 2024-2025 KiDs Grant recipients and their projects are as follows:

  • Carley Wahlborg Fuller, Epsilon-Louisiana State, on behalf of Girls on the Run South Louisiana to create inspirational bandanas for 5K program participants.
  • District of Columbia Alumnae Chapter on behalf of Safe Shores—The DC Children’s Advocacy Center to create a dedicated library area in the Safe Shores facility.
  • Greater Atlanta Day Alumnae Chapter on behalf of Wellspring Living to support the Girls’ Residential Program by providing social emotional learning modules, conversation cards and self-care packages, as well as a poetry slam event and reception for program participants.
  • Low Country, South Carolina, Alumnae Chapter on behalf of The Children’s Center to provide children of working parents educational enhancement programs where they can participate in learning music, science and literacy.
  • Memphis, Tennessee, Alumnae Chapter on behalf of Memphis Family Connection Center to provide red tubs for foster children filled with clothing, toys, shoes, toiletries and more. In addition, the grant will help cover counseling and therapy for red tub recipients.
  • San Antonio, Texas, Alumnae Chapter on behalf of ChildSafe to provide free, trauma-informed services to children who are victims of physical and sexual abuse so they can express and process feelings and thoughts related to traumatic incidents.
