EMPOWER Recruitment & Marketing Academy

About EMPOWER

The EMPOWER Recruitment & Marketing Academy is a high-impact, immersive weekend experience designed to ignite chapter pride, strengthen leadership confidence and take recruitment and marketing to the next level.

01

Expert consultation

Learn from past recruitment success and opportunities, setting data-driven goals for recruitment and retention. (You’ll be paired with and meet with your expert EMPOWER coach prior to the event to get ready!)

02

Telling the KD story

Promote the KD experience year-round through marketing to elevate the KD brand on your campus and create positive buzz prior to recruitment.

03

Connect with other chapters

Through peer sharing, chapter leaders will share their successes, what they do well and are most proud of for other chapters to learn from.

EMPOWER… How to get there?

All attendees need to book their own travel to and from EMPOWER. Book early to manage costs! Plan on arriving to the hotel no later than 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday and departing the hotel no earlier than Noon CT on Sunday.

Air Travel

Two airports in the Dallas area are located within proximity to the EMPOWER hotel.

  • Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW), 20-minute drive
  • Dallas Love Field (DAL), 30-minute drive

Attendees are encouraged to book airfare early to secure the best pricing.

Note: National Volunteers are required to book all travel through the TravelPerk platform per the National Volunteer Travel & Expense Policy, unless they are attending on behalf of a collegiate chapter as an advisor.

Parking & Ground Transportation:

For those driving or renting a car, complimentary self-parking is available at the hotel.

Attendees are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own ground transportation between the airport and the hotel, or any other trips. Ride-share apps such as Uber or Lyft are recommended, and we encourage you to share rides with chapter sisters when possible.
