KD Foundation grants build confidence and inspire action
Because of donations from generous KD sisters and friends, the foundation provides grant opportunities for sisters to grow as leaders, support when they’re in need, and to make a difference in our communities.

Alumnae Crisis Grants
Through the Alumnae Crisis Fund, the Kappa Delta Foundation provides immediate financial assistance in the form of a grant to an initiated Kappa Delta alumna who is experiencing dire financial need and who has exhausted other sources of financial assistance (through medical insurance, family, or bank loans, etc.). Consideration is given to applicants in a personal crisis, an emergency situation due to medical reasons, or natural disasters.

KiDs Grants
KiDs Grants offer individual alumnae and alumnae chapters an opportunity to partner with their local nonprofit agencies to make a difference. Each year, $25,000 is available for projects that have a direct, positive effect on families and children, with a maximum of $10,000 available for a single recipient. Applicants are encouraged to work with collegiate chapters, alumnae chapters or other sisters. Preference is given to sustainable projects and those which offer involvement opportunities to KDs.
