Officer Experience Institute Continues to Grow Because of You

In 2024, Kappa Delta introduced the Officer Experience Institute (OEI) as a bold investment to train collegiate leaders. Thanks to your generosity, it has quickly become a cornerstone of our leadership development efforts — and it continues to expand.

This year, attendance increased with 2,018 collegians and 439 local volunteers representing 166 collegiate chapters. Together, they engaged in a half day of leadership development across role-specific and collaborative sessions designed to strengthen chapter operations and deepen advisor–collegian partnerships. Most importantly, 93% of attendees agreed or strongly agreed that OEI provided a high-quality, impactful learning experience.

Because of donor support, dynamic, nationally recognized career coach Lindsay Boccardo taught collegiate attendees the TA-DA method (Tune in, Accept, Decide, Ask) to communicate authentically and professionally with others. 95.7% of them said they strongly agree or agree that they have a clearer understanding of how self-awareness and self-acceptance influence their leadership.

Similarly, 100% of alumnae advisors strongly agreed or agreed that Lindsay Boccardo’s keynote feeling confident using coaching skills, such as listening, validating, and asking empowering questions, when supporting collegiate leaders.

The feedback says it best:

  • “Connecting with other VP-events and programming helped me realize I’m not alone.”

  • “I loved the breakout sessions that clarified our roles and responsibilities.”

  • “The keynote was energizing and authentic.”

  • “The program was thoughtfully structured and easy to navigate.”

Because of your support, what began as a half-day pilot is now a no-cost, high-impact experience equipping thousands of sisters with the confidence, clarity and connection they need to lead well.
