MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Kappa Delta Foundation elected two new members to its 2020-2021 board of directors on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. Brandi Cappaert Harper (Mu-Millsaps) and Kirsten Jakmas Kuykendoll (Gamma Nu-Miami) joined the board Aug. 1.

Brandi joins the board with over 24 years of experience as an attorney and currently serves as general counsel for Wiregrass Construction Company. Her commitment to Kappa Delta includes a variety of volunteer positions. She is a member of the Houston County, Alabama, Alumnae Chapter and previously served as president of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Alumnae Chapter and as a member of the Alumnae National Leadership Team.

Kirsten joins the board with more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry. She currently serves as Head of Associate Experience for Fidelity Investments. A frequent volunteer for Kappa Delta, Kirsten previously served on the National Leadership Team and the chapter advisory boards at Sigma Kappa-Ohio State and Gamma Nu-Miami.

The 2020-2021 Kappa Delta Foundation Board members are: Beth Martin Langford, chair; Michelle Parmley Rabideau, vice chair; Sue Brauer Mickelberg, secretary/treasurer; Karen Thomas Fesmire; Jaynee Drange Groseth; Brandi Cappaert Harper; Kirsten Jakmas Kuykendoll; Laura Freedman Magedoff; Kristin Power; Jodi Scheurenbrand; Cheryl Grant Sizer; Susan Stockton; and Tricia Ruma Spence. In addition to those elected, Pamela Nix, executive director, serves as an ex officio member of the board.

Established in 1981, the Kappa Delta Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to secure funds for the educational, leadership and charitable purposes of Kappa Delta Sorority, a national organization for women with more than 277,000 members, 168 active collegiate chapters and 223 active alumnae chapters nationwide. The foundation is supported by member donations and bequests that fund programs and initiatives such as scholarships, internships, grants and more.
