Sister, you did it! After all the long nights of studying, writing papers and working on group projects – you finished it all and are on to the next chapter. You might be feeling a mix of emotions: scared about what is next, excited to start a new job or head to grad school, or anxiety for all the unknowns.  

No matter what happens, Kappa Delta is there for you, and we have some ways to help you transition into life as an alumna. 

Update your information 

Now that you’ve officially graduated, it’s time to update all those accounts you made with your student email and change your address if you’re moving! This is an important step to take right away so your college, Kappa Delta and friends can stay in contact with you. Be sure to start with KD’s Member Portal to update your information and stay in touch. You don’t want to miss out on receiving the next issue of The Angelos in your inbox and mailbox!

Join an Alumnae Chapter 

There are more than 220 alumnae chapters across the country, and they would love to have a new graduate like you join! Alumnae chapters are a great place for our sisters to come together to build friendships, network and engage in volunteering. And joining is easy! Volunteer with Kappa Delta   

Did you know you can volunteer with Kappa Delta right after college? With exceptions of volunteering with your own chapter until two years after graduation, KD has so many opportunities to stay involved and give back, like Chapter Advisory Boards, House Corporations, sorority and foundation committees, and beyond And if you’re moving to a new city, volunteering is a great way to get to know your community and meet people.
