As the end of another decade draws near, let’s celebrate the holiday season by revisiting some of our favorite Christmas seals from each decade.

1929: Designed by Dorothy Duggar (Sigma Lambda-Auburn), this Christmas seal illustrates Kappa Delta’s support of the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

1938: This seal designed by Elizabeth Pegram (Sigma Delta-Duke) is a moment of peace and calm during a normally busy time of year.

1945: In the midcentury modern style, this seal designed by Henrietta Elliston Warren (Beta Epsilon-Tulsa) is sweet and joyful.

1954: This jolly red Santa, also designed by Henrietta Elliston Warren, surely brightened each envelope it adorned.

1960: Three fir trees on this Christmas seal designed by Barbara Loftus (Beta Epsilon-Tulsa) are as sweet and simple as the come.

1971: A break from standard convention, this Christmas seal designed by Carole Hawes Bond (Epsilon-Louisiana State) is sketched.

1982: The cutest little ornament, designed by Cary Brooks Rupert (Omega Xi-Cincinnati0.

1999: Designed by Emily Chandler (Alpha Chi-Louisiana Tech), a Christmas tree made of lights was sure to delight!

2005: Rudolph made his debut on this seal designed by Rachel Dorenfeld (Zeta Mu-Towson).

2019: We may be biased, but we love this year’s design by Amy Becham (Delta Chi-LaGrange)!

Since the first Kappa Delta Christmas seals were distributed in 1925, this one-of-a-kind initiative has raised funds for scholarships and educational opportunities, provided internships and leadership training, and supported our national philanthropies and numerous local community outreach programs.
