MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Kappa Delta Foundation invites all Kappa Deltas, families and friends to make a donation on KD Giving Tuesday on Dec. 1, 2020.

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. Giving Tuesday will kick off the season of giving by inspiring people to give back.

Funds raised will help the foundation continue to offer undergraduate and graduate scholarships, internship and grant opportunities, and educational programming for collegiate and alumnae Kappa Deltas.

“Our goal for KD Giving Tuesday is to ensure the foundation is able to support KD sisters wherever the need is greatest,” said Beth Langford, Kappa Delta Foundation Chair. “In 2020, the foundation has been able to provide immediate financial support to those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We were able to act quickly because of those who supported the foundation in the past. Your support on this year’s Giving Tuesday will ensure we are able to do the same to do the same and more in the future.”

Giving Tuesday was launched in 2012 as a simple idea: to create a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
