MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The Kappa Delta Foundation will provide funding for 10 Kappa Delta collegians to participate in leadership training and educational internships in summer 2017. Opportunities include attending the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) and interning at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
The foundation will sponsor six Kappa Delta collegians to attend UIFI, an annual five-day institute for fraternity men and sorority women to explore, define and improve their leadership skills, personal awareness and commitment to their fraternity or sorority. They are:
The Kappa Delta Foundation will sponsor two Kappa Delta collegians to serve as interns for more than 100 adolescent girls, ages 11-13, at the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum’s Art and Leadership Program for Girls. The 2017 interns are:
Additionally, the foundation will provide funding for two interns to receive hands-on training in orthopaedic research at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. The 2017 interns are:
