Kappa Delta Foundation Announces 2023-2024 Board of Directors

Memphis, Tenn. June 29, 2023: Kappa Delta Foundation board elections were held at the board of directors meeting on June 29, 2023. The foundation is excited to welcome newly elected directors Anna Green Rich (Kappa Alpha-Florida State), Tove Bichel Thomas (Omicron-Illinois Wesleyan), and Jennifer Priebe Wood (Zeta Gamma-Arkansas/Fayetteville), whose service will begin on Aug. 1, 2023. The board also elected Michelle Rabideau (Sigma Omicron-Illinois) as chair, Kirsten Kuykendoll (Gamma Nu-Miami) as vice-chair and Cheryl Sizer (Epsilon Eta-Illinois State) as secretary-treasurer.

Beth Martin Langford (Kappa Alpha-Florida State) retired from service as chair but will continue to serve on the board as a director. Secretary-Treasurer Sue Brauer Mickelberg (Sigma Sigma-Iowa State), who has served on the board since 2013 retired from service along with Jodi Scheurenbrand (Kappa Alpha-Florida State) and Laura Freedman Magedoff (Zeta Lambda-Delaware).

Additionally, National President Susan Stockton serves as a director and will appoint two members of Kappa Delta Sorority’s National Council to the board. In addition to those elected and appointed, Maggie Waples, executive director, serves as an ex officio member of the board.

Their dedication to Kappa Delta and desire to support the foundation’s mission will be invaluable,” stated newly elected Kappa Delta Foundation Chair Michelle Rabideau. “We thank Beth for her service as chair and look forward to continue working with her in the years to come. We are also grateful to Sue, Jodi and Laura for the years they have dedicated to ensuring the foundation’s success.

Established in 1981, the Kappa Delta Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to secure funds for the educational, leadership and charitable purposes of Kappa Delta Sorority. The foundation is supported by member donations and bequests that fund programs and initiatives such as scholarships, internships, grants and more.
