Delegates from collegiate and alumnae chapters as well as the National Leadership Team will vote on each candidate at Kappa Delta’s 65th Biennial National Convention in National Harbor, Maryland, on July 1.
Susan, Delta Gamma-Western Kentucky, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and earned her juris doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law. She has served as a collegiate membership director, national collegiate advisor, collegiate province president, as national vice president for the 2015-2017, 2017-2019 and 2019-2021 National Council, and as national president for the 2021-2023 National Council. She served as an advisor on four chapter advisory boards. Susan is a retired attorney who previously worked as a senior counsel for General Electric, and she founded Stockton Consulting in Geneva, Switzerland.
Emily, Delta Sigma-South Alabama, earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and history and a Master of Education in educational leadership from University of South Alabama. She holds professional certifications in Title IX coordination, civil rights investigation, student affairs law and policy, and sexual misconduct. Emily has worked in higher education and sorority and fraternity affairs for nearly 20 years, and she served on Kappa Delta’s National Leadership Team as the university case manager, Bias Response Intervention Team (BRIT) co-lead and as the national vice president for the 2021-2023 National Council.
Laura Beth, Delta Gamma-Western Kentucky, earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and began her career as an insurance broker specializing in employee benefits. She is currently the vice president of group benefits at a financial services firm. She has served Kappa Delta nationally as the collegiate special projects director, collegiate membership director, chapter accounting specialist and as the national vice president-collegians for the 2019-2021 and 2021-2023 National Council, and locally, she served on three chapter advisory boards.
Julie, Zeta Alpha–Texas Tech, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in middle level education from Texas Tech University and a Master of Science in parks, recreation and tourism from University of Missouri. She currently resides in Washington where she works as the chief mission delivery officer for the Girl Scouts of Western Washington. Julie has served Kappa Delta as a National Leadership Team volunteer for 12 years in positions including division director, CAB specialist manager, CAB specialist, chapter operations director, chapter accounting specialist and chapter bylaws committee. Julie also volunteers on the chapter advisory board for Sigma Tau-Washington State.
Rhonda, Omega Xi-Cincinnati, earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing and management and has a graduate certificate from Stanford University School of Engineering. She currently works as the chief marketing officer for Straight Talk Marketing. Rhonda has served Kappa Delta as an alumnae development specialist and as a Kappa Delta Foundation review committee member for merit-based scholarships and UIFI sponsorships. Locally, Rhonda has also served on the chapter advisory board for Gamma Iota-San Jose State.
Sarah, Epsilon Iota-Missouri, earned a Bachelor of Science in secondary education in mathematics and is a certified treasury professional through the Association for Financial Professionals. She is the president and commercial division manager at Commerce Bank. Sarah has served national Kappa Delta as a chapter accounting specialist, division accounting specialist, chapter advisory board-treasurer for Epsilon Iota-Missouri, and as national vice president-finance for the 2019-2021 and 2021-2023 National Council.
