KDs learned to lean into the strength of sisterhood and the lifelong bonds that make KD extraordinary, one Confident Conversation at a time
Friendship is one of the most powerful parts of the Kappa Delta experience — but meaningful relationships don’t just happen. They grow through communication, understanding and the confidence to have honest conversations.
That’s exactly what Kappa Delta’s Confident Conversations virtual series was designed to cultivate.

Thanks to donor support, this signature program equipped members with practical relational skills that strengthen confidence, connection and belonging throughout the member experience. Through candid discussions led by friendship experts Shasta Nelson and Danielle Bayard Jackson, sisters explored topics like navigating conflict, deepening friendships and building supportive communities within their chapters.
The response for the third year of this series was extraordinary. 3,835 members participated from 152 total chapters representing 83% of chapters across the country.
More importantly, participants are putting these lessons into action.

Moments like these remind us confidence doesn’t grow in isolation — it grows through the support and encouragement friendships provide.
These are the kinds of skills that extend far beyond college. By learning how to communicate openly, navigate conflict and build stronger relationships, members gain tools that strengthen not only their sisterhood but also their future workplaces, families and communities.
Because of your generosity, thousands of Kappa Deltas are learning that confidence grows in connection — and that they never have to navigate life alone.
