The National Leadership Team (NLT) is a group of dedicated alumnae volunteers who work closely with Kappa Delta’s National Council and Headquarters staff to support the organization’s mission and membership. NLT members serve as liaisons to collegiate and alumnae chapters, provide guidance to help ensure chapters thrive through strategic leadership and programming.
Applicants must be alumnae members in good standing who are passionate about Kappa Delta’s mission and values. Prior leadership experience within Kappa Delta, either at the chapter or national level, is highly recommended. Strong organizational and communication skills, aptitude in technology platforms, along with a commitment to serving the sorority, are essential for success in this role.
The time commitment varies depending on the specific role, but NLT members should expect to dedicate several hours each week. This includes participating in virtual meetings, responding to chapter inquiries via phone and email, and providing ongoing mentorship and support. NLT appointed for the 2025-2027 biennium are expected to attend the 2025 National Convention in Grapevine, Texas for the NLT Academy and to serve as a delegate in official business meetings. Some NLT roles may require occasional travel for chapter visits and other national events.
