Kappa Delta Sorority is seeking to place a full-time house director at Theta Nu Purdue University. The house director provides direct oversight of facility cleaning and maintenance services and works with a kitchen management company to coordinate food services for the chapter house. The primary duty of the House Director is to oversee the day-to-day operations of the physical premises of the chapter house. The House Director is expected to utilize appropriate levels of independent judgment and discretion in the execution of her job duties. The House Director must have strong interpersonal skills and have a positive attitude. The House Director will also help to ensure the safety and welfare of both the collegiate live-in and live-out members of the sorority. The position requires strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach. The ability to quickly identify problems, develop and timely implement solutions is also expected. The House Director is required to reside in the chapter house while members are present and have schedule flexibility to provide property oversight during breaks as needed. In-person and virtual training is required.

Title: Alumnae Operations Manager

Location: Remote or Memphis, TN
The Alumnae Operations Manager (AOM) will assist with developing and executing the long-term strategic plan of Kappa Delta’s Alumnae Experience by designing frictionless and automated processes, along with supporting the day-to-day needs of Alumnae Chapters (AC) and Alumnae NLT (ANLT). The position is a full-time staff position based at headquarters in Memphis, TN; remote employment will be considered for candidates outside of the Memphis metropolitan area. The AOM reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with the National Vice President-Alumnae.
In the first 90 days of employment, the position will be tasked with learning the policies and procedures related to Alumnae Chapters, how to handle and process member records, and begin identifying process improvements for further consideration.

Title: Office Coordinator

Location: Kappa Delta National Headquarters, Memphis, Tennessee
The Office Coordinator is responsible for providing services and support to Headquarters operations and members of Kappa Delta Sorority. The position communicates internally and externally with professionalism, with the goal of providing accurate and timely information, in addition to keeping Headquarters organized and ready to host staff and guests alike. This position has responsibilities for the front office, building use and maintenance, common areas, supplies, member services and communication, hospitality, and vendor management. Occasionally they will support other seasonal projects of the department as assigned by the Operations Manager and Director of Operations. The schedule is flexible between the business hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm and may require some weekend time four times per year.

Title:Training & Development Manager-Volunteer Support

The focus of the TDM–VS position is to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive training and development programs that support and empower the local Kappa Delta volunteers. This manager oversees the review, delivery, development, and assessment of volunteer programming with the Senior Training & Development Manager (SCTDM), the Director of Collegiate Experience (DCE), and members of the National Council. The TDM – VS is vital in creating a positive and inclusive volunteer experience.

Title: Leadership Development Consultant
Supervisor: Sr.Collegiate Experience Manager/Collegiate Experience Manager-Growth
Status: Full-Time Exempt
Location: Remote or Memphis, TN
Leadership Development Consultants focus on developing collegiate leaders and members, building sisterhood, and creating a sense of belonging and inclusion for 20-30 chapters, in 2 divisions, or through an in-residence position building a new chapter of Kappa Delta, or supporting the growth of an existing chapter.
Leadership development consultants are full-time salaried employees of Kappa Delta who serve as ambassadors for the organization by visiting chapters across the country, supporting sisterhood and inclusion efforts, mentoring collegians, and supporting local advisors.
Travel consultants spend up to 50% of their time traveling to visit chapters across the divisions they support, and the rest of their time supporting chapters, staff, and volunteers virtually. In-residence consultants focus on a specific chapter on a university campus, they may be called upon to travel up to 10% of their time to assist on special projects.
Depending on the chapter assignment, LDCs assist with leadership development of members, belonging and inclusion efforts, chapter recruitment and new chapter establishment. LDCs also gain valuable knowledge and skills in developing others, public speaking, facilitating meetings, team collaboration, budgeting, and reporting.
Travel LDCs can be based in Memphis or remotely and will support chapters virtually. The one-year term lasts from June through May.
