BRIT provides a process for response and restoration for Kappa Delta members and/or Kappa Delta chapters. BRIT adopts restorative justice principles to allow for a collaborative, solution-oriented process between our members with the support of the BRIT team. Responses to bias incidents may include educational conversations, workshops, warnings, loss of privileges or other appropriate actions.

You may use this form to report incidents of bias (either conscious or unconscious), discrimination or hate. You will see that the form offers both the anonymous and non-anonymous options for reporting. If you prefer to remain anonymous, you may choose not to identify yourself.
If you desire follow up from the Bias Response and Intervention Team (BRIT), you should identify yourself. Complete confidentiality is not guaranteed. Either way of reporting helps create the healthy cultural environment for which we strive within Kappa Delta. BRIT will make efforts to respect the privacy of those involved, and the information you provide will be shared only as necessary for us to take the appropriate action.

BRIT Protocol does not replace current policies and procedures regarding discrimination, sexual misconduct, hazing, violations of criminal law or risk management action. If disciplinary action is deemed necessary as a result of any behavior, the BRIT Co-Leads will work with the Chapter Standards Board to outline recommended sanctioning as suggested within the BRIT internal protocol.
