It’s almost time to pack your suitcase (and maybe a cowboy hat)! Kappa Delta’s 66th Biennial National Convention is heading to Texas, and we’re counting down the days until we’re all together again. Whether it’s your first convention or you’ve been to a few, there’s something magical about gathering with sisters from around the country to celebrate, connect and lead. 

So, what are we most excited about this year? Glad you asked! 

1. The biggest KD event of the biennium
   
   Let’s be honest, nothing compares to the energy of convention. Over 1,000 sisters in one place? That’s a lot of confidence, brave hearts and Kappa Delta spirit! From inspiring speakers and sisterhood events to breakout sessions and a KD pool party, convention is the ultimate KD experience — and we’re here for all of it.

2. Brave Hearts Yoga with our executive director!
   
   Need a little zen before a jam-packed day? Join us for Brave Hearts Yoga led by none other than Executive Director Maggie Waples! It’s the perfect way to center yourself, connect with sisters and kick off your Saturday with purpose (and maybe a few laughs trying to balance in tree pose).

3. Celebrating our sisters’ achievements
   
   We can’t wait to cheer on the incredible chapters, members and volunteers who go above and beyond to live out our values every day. Awards, recognitions, shoutouts — you name it, we’ll be celebrating it!

4. Experiencing the ritual of Initiation
   
   There’s something truly special about witnessing our ritual. Initiation is coming back to convention for the first time since 2019, and we know it will be a powerful reminder of who we are, where we’ve been and the sisterhood that binds us. This is sure to be one of those moments that stays with you long after the weekend ends.

5. Shaping what’s next
   
   Convention isn’t just about reflection — it’s about direction. Together, we’ll make important decisions, share bold ideas and lay the foundation for the next two years of Kappa Delta. Every voice matters, and every brave heart helps lead the way.
