In our recruitment Era

Are you ready for it?

In February 2026, every Kappa Delta chapter will come together for the EMPOWER Recruitment & Marketing Academy — a high-impact, immersive weekend experience designed to ignite chapter pride, strengthen leadership confidence and take recruitment and marketing to the next level. Together at EMPOWER, your VP-recruitment & marketing, director of social media & marketing, and CAB-R&M will build a focused recruitment strategy with clear goals and a growth plan designed for long-term success. You’ll refine your chapter’s brand, sharpen your marketing approach, and strengthen your leadership capacity to lead with clarity, influence and vision — all while connecting with peers from across the country.

This isn’t just training — it’s an experience built to equip your chapter with the confidence, clarity and strategy needed to achieve measurable recruitment success.

EMPOWER Recruitment & Marketing Academy

We’re inviting all chapter recruitment and marketing leaders to EMPOWER because together we can elevate Kappa Delta’s recruitment excellence, strengthen our Panhellenic communities and learn from one another. At each of the two EMPOWER weekends, we’re also bringing together chapters with recruitments similar in size and style, so it will provide a great networking opportunity for leaders to connect.

We can’t wait to share this experience with you! At EMPOWER, we’ll dive into:

  • Expert consultation on past recruitment success and opportunities, setting data-driven goals for recruitment and retention. (And, you’ll be paired with and meet with your expert EMPOWER coach prior to the event to get ready!)
  • Telling the KD story year-round through marketing to elevate the KD brand on your campus and create positive buzz prior to recruitment.
  • Peer sharing – chapter leaders will share their successes, what they do well and are most proud of for other chapters to learn from.
  • Strong project management — planning and implementing recruitment as a year-round approach.
  • Membership selection — process, policy and how to use it effectively to enhance your membership and reputation.

Each leader and chapter will leave with clear goals, a road map and project plan, so you can check on progress monthly!

Here are the details! EMPOWER will be:

WHO?

Each chapter is expected to send their new (1) VP R&M, (2) DSM&M and (3) CAB R&M (or the CAB member who works most closely with recruitment), elected and appointed in November 2025 that will serve until fall 2026. If your chapter has not traditionally appointed a director of social media & marketing, consider adding this appointed position, and bring the new officer to the program, or, bring the leader responsible for social media, content creation and PR. Simply put, we’ve seen how important this role can be in a chapter’s marketing success.

COST?

The per-person registration is $600, and includes programming, supplies, two meals (Friday dinner and Saturday lunch) and lodging. The total registration cost for a chapter sending three people is $1,800. Other meals, travel and transportation costs will be the responsibility of the chapter.

Commitment Form

The CAB-R&M or CAB Chair will fill out the opens in a new windowEMPOWER Commitment Form, confirming the number of attendees the chapter will send. If for any reason the number of attendees from the chapter is less than three, approval must be given by the chapter’s CRS – check in with her before submission. The commitment form is due Oct. 15, and chapters will be billed the $600 per attendee registration fee on the Chapter Statement by Oct. 31.

Attendee Registration

After your chapter holds elections for the VP-R&M and appoints the DSM&M, all attendees will individually register online. Chapters will need to elect VP-R&M and appoint DSM&M before Dec. 5, 2025. Registration will be open Oct. 31 through Dec. 5, 2025.
