In February 2026, every Kappa Delta chapter will come together for the EMPOWER Recruitment & Marketing Academy — a high-impact, immersive weekend experience designed to ignite chapter pride, strengthen leadership confidence and take recruitment and marketing to the next level. Together at EMPOWER, your VP-recruitment & marketing, director of social media & marketing, and CAB-R&M will build a focused recruitment strategy with clear goals and a growth plan designed for long-term success. You’ll refine your chapter’s brand, sharpen your marketing approach, and strengthen your leadership capacity to lead with clarity, influence and vision — all while connecting with peers from across the country.
This isn’t just training — it’s an experience built to equip your chapter with the confidence, clarity and strategy needed to achieve measurable recruitment success.
We’re inviting all chapter recruitment and marketing leaders to EMPOWER because together we can elevate Kappa Delta’s recruitment excellence, strengthen our Panhellenic communities and learn from one another. At each of the two EMPOWER weekends, we’re also bringing together chapters with recruitments similar in size and style, so it will provide a great networking opportunity for leaders to connect.
We can’t wait to share this experience with you! At EMPOWER, we’ll dive into:
Each leader and chapter will leave with clear goals, a road map and project plan, so you can check on progress monthly!
Chapters will be assigned one of two weekends to attend the EMPOWER Recruitment & Marketing Academy in Dallas, Texas – either Friday, Feb. 6 – Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026 or Friday, Feb. 20 – Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026. The assigned weekend was communicated to your recruitment and marketing leaders on Sept. 19 via email and can be seen in the table below. Chapters are grouped with campuses of similar recruitment size and style, providing a great networking opportunity for leaders to connect.
Plan on arriving to the hotel no later than 6:30 p.m. CT on Friday and departing the hotel no earlier than Noon CT on Sunday.

Kappa Delta Headquarters has booked hotel rooms for attendees and will assign roommates. Collegiate attendees will sleep four-to-a-room, and alumnae attendees will sleep two-to-a-room. Your roommate(s) will be shared with you prior to EMPOWER via email. If you prefer double- (collegians) or single-occupancy (alumnae), email events@kappadelta.orgcreate new email for availability and pricing.
Hotel room check-in will be available Friday at 4 p.m. CT, and attendees must check out by Sunday at Noon CT.
Each chapter is expected to send their new (1) VP R&M, (2) DSM&M and (3) CAB R&M (or the CAB member who works most closely with recruitment), elected and appointed in November 2025 that will serve until fall 2026. If your chapter has not traditionally appointed a director of social media & marketing, consider adding this appointed position, and bring the new officer to the program, or, bring the leader responsible for social media, content creation and PR. Simply put, we’ve seen how important this role can be in a chapter’s marketing success.
The per-person registration is $600, and includes programming, supplies, two meals (Friday dinner and Saturday lunch) and lodging. The total registration cost for a chapter sending three people is $1,800. Other meals, travel and transportation costs will be the responsibility of the chapter.
The CAB-R&M or CAB Chair will fill out the opens in a new windowEMPOWER Commitment Form, confirming the number of attendees the chapter will send. If for any reason the number of attendees from the chapter is less than three, approval must be given by the chapter’s CRS – check in with her before submission. The commitment form is due Oct. 15, and chapters will be billed the $600 per attendee registration fee on the Chapter Statement by Oct. 31.
After your chapter holds elections for the VP-R&M and appoints the DSM&M, all attendees will individually register online. Chapters will need to elect VP-R&M and appoint DSM&M before Dec. 5, 2025. Registration will be open Oct. 31 through Dec. 5, 2025.
Two airports in the Dallas area are located within proximity to the EMPOWER hotel.
Attendees are encouraged to book airfare early to secure the best pricing.
Note: National Volunteers are required to book all travel through the TravelPerk platform per the National Volunteer Travel & Expense Policy, unless they are attending on behalf of a collegiate chapter as an advisor.
For those driving or renting a car, complimentary self-parking is available at the hotel.
Attendees are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own ground transportation between the airport and the hotel, or any other trips. Ride-share apps such as Uber or Lyft are recommended, and we encourage you to share rides with chapter sisters when possible.

These three leaders attending as a group ensures a consistent knowledge base and shared experience. If one isn’t able to attend, reach out to your CRS to explain the situation, as you will need approval to replace an attendee or send fewer than three. The chapter’s CRS and the Collegiate Experience staff at KDHQ will review these requests and make the final decision.
If your chapter has not traditionally appointed a DSM&M, consider adding this appointed position and bring the new officer to the program, or bring the person on your recruitment or leadership team responsible for social media, content creation and PR.
For smaller chapters or those with budget constraints who seek to send fewer than three, contact your CRS to begin the conversation. The chapter’s CRS and the Collegiate Experience staff at KDHQ will review these requests and make the final decision.
Unfortunately, our space is limited at the hotel to accommodate three attendees per chapter. If your chapter would like to send more than three, let us know on your Attendance Commitment Form (by Oct. 15), and we’ll add your additional attendees to a waitlist. We’ll reach back out to you before registration opens to confirm based on availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
Consider attending again to continue to build relationships and knowledge, however, you could also send the CAB-C or CAB-Marketing. If you have two CABs-R&M, decide who would be the most appropriate to attend.
The $600 registration fee includes lodging, programming and program meals (Friday dinner and Saturday lunch). Travel and transportation are not included. Other meals will be “on your own.” Registration fees will be billed on your Chapter Statement in late October.
