Give to KD

Get involved with the foundation.

There are many ways you can get involved with the Kappa Delta Foundation! Because of your participation, KDs benefit from important scholarships, internships and leadership opportunities.

Volunteer on a committee

Each year, the foundation offers KD sisters and communities support in the areas of education, leadership and philanthropy; the foundation is proud to provide this support through scholarships, grants and awards. Our application review committees play a critical role in awarding these opportunities.

Want to apply for the Kappa Delta Foundation’s Application Review Committees? Look no further! Complete the Application Review Committees interest form.

Submit a KD Foundation seals design

Christmas seals

Since the first seals were first distributed in 1925, KD members have submitted designs to be selected for each year’s KD Foundation seal. The member who submits the winning design receives a $100 award and will be featured in The Angelos. Learn more about entering the contest here.

Scholarship endowments

Scholarships may be gifted as groups or as an individual. A scholarship endowment is established to last forever. The minimum gift for endowing a scholarship is $30,000, but scholarships may also be endowed at any amount at or above $30,000.

You may establish an endowment through a pledge lasting up to 5 years. Endowment assets are professionally invested and are reviewed annually to determine the specific amount that may be awarded to KD women pursuing academic degrees. Contact the foundation to establish an endowment today.

Education and technology grant funds

An education and technology grant fund is a fund managed by the foundation that allows alumnae to contribute tax-deductible donations that will later be used for the construction or improvement of a chapter house. These funds may only be used for construction or improvement related to the spaces in the house that are used strictly for educational purposes, like a study room or a library.

The local house corporation manages the fundraising efforts for these projects. After the house corporation has established the fund with the foundation and the fund has received contributions, the house corporation requests a withdrawal to pay for educational- or technology-related expenses.

Is your local house corporation planning renovations for the chapter house? Contact the foundation to establish an education and technology grant fund today.
