Optional Recruitment Forms
Do you know a woman headed off to college? We appreciate the efforts our members put into recommending outstanding collegiate women for membership.
Are recruitment forms required?
They are not! Kappa Delta chapters do not require any of the optional recruitment forms for a woman to be considered for membership. Recruitment forms can serve as a helpful introduction to the chapter and provide additional information about a potential new member (PNM). Having an optional recommendation does not guarantee an invitation of membership.
Which recruitment form should I use? How do I send the form?
Form: Recommendation form
Who can submit? KD alumna or collegian* in good standing.
Purpose? To recommend a PNM going through recruitment for KD membership.
* A collegiate member in good standing may submit an optional recommendation on a PNM who is going through recruitment at a different institution.
Form: Legacy Introduction form
Who can submit? Anyone who knows of a KD legacy going through recruitment.
Purpose? To notify a chapter that a legacy PNM is going through recruitment.
Can I email my form somewhere?
Forms are not accepted via email. Please use the chart above to determine how to submit your form.
Where can I get a hard copy?
If you prefer to submit a hard copy form, you may download printable versions of the Recommendation form here, the Legacy Introduction form here, and view the list of chapter here. You will print, fill out, and mail the form directly to the chapter address.
How do I notify a chapter about a legacy?
A legacy is the daughter, granddaughter or sister of an initiated member in good standing (living or deceased). Half- and step-relations are also considered legacies. If you know of a Kappa Delta legacy going through recruitment on a campus with a Kappa Delta chapter, you can submit an optional legacy introduction form to inform the chapter.
When are optional recruitment forms due?
To serve their purpose, forms should be submitted to chapters as soon as possible prior to the start of recruitment.
How do I access the Member Portal?
If you have never logged into the Member Portal you will need to claim your account. Visit https://members.kappadelta.org, click the “Claim Account” link, and follow the instructions for the automated process.
If you have forgotten your username or password, visit https://members.kappadelta.org, click “Forgot username?” or “Forgot password?” underneath the sign-in box.
If neither the automated process to claim your account or forgot username/password can solve your problem, please email email@example.com with the following information:
- First Name
- Maiden/Initiated Last Name
- Current Last Name
- Initiated Chapter Greek Name or College/University
- Initiation Year
PLEASE NOTE: Kappa Delta’s members-only online portals (including the Member Portal, Nautilus Network and Resource Library) have enhanced security features which require users to create a password with seven characters including at least one number and one letter. If you have a username and password but have not logged into the Member Portal, Nautilus Network or Resource Library since May 2019 or earlier, you will be asked to update your password.
