The Resource Library just got even better.
You’re in the Resource Library. You have a document in mind that you need. You’re pretty sure it should be under the “Finance” topic. That would make the most sense, right? So why isn’t it there? You’re frustrated and wonder where to go next. Does this sound familiar?
If you can relate, you’ll be happy to know those days are over. We are excited to announce we have launched a search feature for the Resource Library. Now you have three ways to find the documents you need—sort by category, sort by topic or search.
Let’s review. Categories are types of documents, like templates or manuals. Topics are what they’re about, like finance or sisterhood. These are set by the team at headquarters, but we need your help to make sure you can find what you need. If you think a document is about community service and you found it under “Initiatives,” tell us! Send your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org, and we’ll consider them as we update documents. Categories and Topics are designed to help you view related documents all together.
But if you’re looking for that one specific document that will solve all your problems, now you can search for it. Just type the name (or any word in the title) into the search field, and it will appear. You can also search by word for multiple documents, like “confidence,” and anything with confidence in the title will show up.
We want to make it as simple as possible for you to access the resources that make your KD life easier. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to make improvements to ensure the Resource Library is a great tool for members.
