Help end dating abuse.
According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, girls and young women between the ages of 16 and 24 experience the highest rate of intimate partner violence—almost triple the national average.
Kappa Delta joined forces with the hotline’s loveisrespect.org program to develop the “Friends Say the Tough Stuff, So Say It” campaign. The campaign raises awareness of dating violence and encourages friends to offer support, advice and intervention when they believe a friend is in an unhealthy relationship.
Kappa Delta chapters participate in the campaign by spreading awareness about the issue during Dating Violence Awareness Month in February or International Women’s Friendship Month in September.
